Hand-Pinched Clay Candles

Created slowly by hand, each of our clay candles begins as a simple ball of clay, carefully pinched and shaped into its own unique vessel.

No moulds are used, meaning every piece has its own gentle curves, textures and character. Once dried, each vessel is individually hand-painted using soft watercolour-inspired washes before being filled with natural soy wax and finished with a cotton wick.

Inspired by the colours of Britain’s beautiful landscapes—from the Yorkshire Moors to the Cornish coast and the Lake District fells—these candles are designed to bring a sense of calm and nature into your home.

When the candle has finished burning, your handmade vessel can continue to be enjoyed as a trinket dish, jewellery bowl, tiny planter or simply as a keepsake.

Because every candle is handmade, no two will ever be exactly the same. We believe these little differences are what make each one special.
